History

Atmonauti is the real human flight imaged and discover by Marco Tiezzi at the end of 1998 , developed and perfectionate untill 2000 , year where was presented for the first time. Rivolutionate the concept of the traditional skydiving in which all the discipline are performed in vertical fall in the trajectory of the gravity force, introducing the component of using the spce aerial tridimensionally ... navigation of the atmosphere.

In continuous development ed evolution, the atmonaut fly mark another important goal in 2001 with the discover of the possibility of flying in the angles trajectory with the feet first instead of the head first, performing something that untill then was considered impossible. In 2002 Marco Tiezzi invent the "atmonauti tandem" realizing, also in this case, something considerate impossible, sperimenting the technique for manteining the same angle and speed of a normal atmonaut fly, but with the double of the weight. The tandem atmonauti offers the passenger the ecceptional possibility of trying a real sensation of flying, instead of falling.

In 2002 Atmonauti becomes a reality known and practise in all the world . The Atmonauti fly enter also in the FAI competitions of Free Style and Freefly in 2003

At the end of 2003 the short-film "Atmosphere Navigators" composed of only images in Atmonauti angle fly , wins the first prize at the Flyboyz Film Festival voted for its unique images and for the technique contents of highest level and since then almost completely unknown in USA.

AUSTRALIA 1999 – FAI World Championship

The first presentation when Marco Tiezzi present to the Judges with Dale Stuart Chief Judge, a VHS tape with Atmonauti manoeuvres .

ITALY 2000 – FAI Italian National

The first official presentation of the new Atmonauti Technique in competition when M.T. and G.B. perform an entire Free Style routine completely in Atmonauti with 7 new maneuvers never seen before.

FRANCE 2000 – FAI French National

M.T. and G.B. participate in the competition as a guest team , winning the first place with the new Atmonauti routine

FRANCE 2000 – Vichy - Espace Boogie

M.T. and G.B. load organizer of the boogie , organize for the first time , the Atmonauti big way formation , sharing the technique with the best flyers of the world

USA 2000 – Eloy – FAI World Cup and European Championship

M.T. and G.B. respectively Silver and Gold medal in Free Style with the new Atmonauti routine with the 7 new maneuvers. In the occasion the Judges asked to all the competitors after the competition , to write , explicate and named eventual new maneuvers presented in the competition, therefore the documents where the new Atmonauti moves are named and described exist since 2000.

USA 2000 – Eloy – Free Fly Festival

M.T. organize for the first time in USA , the Atmonauti big way formation , sharing the technique with many of the best flyers of the world coming from many world countries

At the end of years 2000 Atmonauti start to be known and practice around all the world with constant articles in many world magazines . The new technique will change completely the “traditional Tracking” , influenced also other disciplines as wing suit , base jump , wind tunnel . Even the Free Fly and the Free Style start to acquire the Techinque Atmonauti increasing the games possibilities.

JAPAN 2001 – Akita – World Games – FAI

M.T. and G.B. Bronze medal in Free Style with the new Atmonauti routine

SPAIN 2001 – Granada – World Air Games – FAI World Championship

M.T. and G.B. obtain the 4^th place in the Free Style competition with the new Atmonauti routine

FRANCE 2001 – Lapalisse - Espace Boogie

Important Italian competition with the best teams , broadcasted live by RAI national television channel , with one FAI judge in the Jury . G.B. e M.T. Gold medal in Free Fly and Silver medal in Free Style with the Atmonauti routines and the Atmonauti Feet First .

12. AUSTRIA 2002 – Vienna – FAI World Cup

M.T. and G.B. Bronze medal in Free Style with the Atmonauti routines with the Atmonauti Feet First

13. SPAIN 2002 – Ampuria - FAI European Championship

M.T. and G.B. Gold medal in Free Style and Bronze medal in Free Fly with the Atmonauti routines and again the Atmonauti Feet First

14. SPAIN 2002 – Ampuria - FAI IPC Meeting

In the IPC Meeting at the end of the competition , was decided to insert in the Free Style and Free Fly compulsories , the New Atmonauti manoeuvres . Marco Tiezzi was in charged by Ronald Overdick to redact some proposal . From 2003 FAI create a new Orientation Called Atmonauti and new compulsories used in the successive competitions .
